Speech Pathologist, Inpatient, PRN
Job Description

Provides therapeutic care and services to patients, including assessments, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication of Speech Language Pathology, who have been referred by a physician for rehabilitative care. Conducts therapeutic activities and practices values and attitudes congruent with the profession's standards and ethics. Serves a patient population ranging in age from infant through geriatric.

3. Interpersonal skills to enable the therapist to establish and maintain rapport with patient as part of the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

Education & Training:

Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Therapy program.  Holds a current temporary or permanent license to practice speech therapy in the State of Maryland.  CPR certification required.  BLS required.

 

Work Orientation & Experience:

Completion of student affiliations and internships.  The incumbent may require up to 3 months of detailed job orientation and training to gain specific capabilities to perform essential job functions and to acclimate to departmental responsibilities.

Additional Information

This position is to primarily cover in the acute care setting.  This position requires weekend and holiday commitments (at least 1 weekend shift per month).

Compensation:

Pay Range: FLATRATE:$50
