Atlantic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated per diem Speech Pathologist with pediatric experience to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Morristown. This position will require the Team Member to be available for various shifts during the week including covering for Team Members who are on PTO. This position will also require one late afternoon/early evening shift per week.

The responsibilities of the Team Member will be:

 

Work within a team of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation specialists seeing pediatric patients including NICU follow-up patients on a weekly basis. Evaluate pediatric outpatients for speech-language and swallowing/feeding difficulties. Design and carry out SLP plan of care based on findings and evidence based practice. Document and drop appropriate charges on all patient interactions and confidently navigate the electronic medical record. Provide patient/family/caregiver education as indicated. Ensure customer satisfaction as well as quality of care and patient safety. Communicate/collaborate with other Rehab professionals, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers.
