Atlantic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in the inpatient unit of Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ. This position will require the Team Member to be available for various shifts, including two weekend days per month with a minimum of four hours (8a-12p). The responsibilities of the Team Member will be: Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) Responsibilities: + Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders + Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results + Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed + Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication at home + Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans + Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required + Valid NJ state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required + Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required + Experience working with adult acute care population preferred + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment ABOUT US At Atlantic Health System, our promise to our communities is; Anyone who enters one of our facilities, will receive the highest quality care delivered at the right time, at the right place, and at the right cost.
