+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
+ Evaluates patients; diagnoses communication disorders; plans, directs, and provides treatments for pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
+ POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
+ Experience:
+ Two years experience preferred. Entry level acceptable.
+ Education and Training:
+ Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
+ License, Certification & Registration:
+ MASPEECH - MA Speech and Language Pathologist License.
+ Other Requirements:
+ Must be able to comprehend and write the English language.
