Responsible for determining differential diagnosis of Speech/Swallowing/Feeding disorders by conducting appropriate evaluations. Plans and administers therapeutic services to patients in addition to counseling patients and/or families (guardian) regarding patients disorder. Writes evaluation reports and maintains patient files. Maintains current knowledge of regulatory/legislative policies as apply to the profession of Speech Language Pathology and adheres to same.
Work requires a current NJ State License in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required, NJ Department of Education Certification as Speech-Language Specialist and CPR certified required. Valid driver’s license required and comply with Qualifications to Drive a System Vehicle as well as all policies as outlined in the SJHS Fleet Management & Safety Program for EIP employees only.
