Expected pay for this position is $37.99 - $44.70/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech Language Pathologist assists patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech, language, cognition and communication functions through evaluation and treatment. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Licenses/Certifications: Respective state temporary license with the supervision of a Licensed Speech Pathologist for 18 months Respective state temporary license while completing Clinical Fellowship Year or respective state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Other skills/knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with patients and families. Communicates effectively with other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, evaluate patients' capabilities, develop treatment plans and monitor patients' progress. Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
