Aspirus At Home in Crystal Falls, MI is seeking a SPEECH THERAPIST to join our field team!
The Speech Therapist ensures quality and safe delivery of therapy services to patients of all ages including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. Initiates, evaluates and establishes therapy care plan and goals of treatment, and provides therapy care rendered under that care plan. Provides documentation of care consistent with applicable federal, state and local regulation and accreditation standards
HOURS: This position is Occasional/as needed
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of speech therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology and previous work experience in a clinical or hospital setting. A minor in psychology, special education, learning disabilities, and/or general science, or accreditation in area of specialty beneficial. One to three years of progressive speech therapy experience necessary to enhance and develop skills, with experience in provision of speech therapy in area of specialization beneficial.Current Michigan licensure to practice speech/language pathology required.Possesses a valid in-State driver’s license with automobile liability insurance.Current CPR Certification required.Current Michigan licensureASHA approved CCC’s or able to obtain within 24 months.Current CPR certification necessary.Cognitive requirements including a high level of problem solving, reasoning and organization skills, along with excellent reception and expressive skills necessary.Clinical Specialist certification beneficial.Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.
