Speech Therapist
Shift: PRN

As a Speech Therapist at Gateway Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.

Requirements:

Minimum of Master’s degree in Communication Disorders is requiredCurrent licensure in Speech and Language Pathology in the State of TennesseeCertified by ASHA for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology or be in the ClinicalFellowship Year (CFY) working toward the CCCCurrent Basic Life Support/CPR Card

About the Job:

Responsible for group of patients and provides speech and language therapy evaluations, modalities and treatment in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the high degree of quality careMay be assigned to orient staff and studentsAccurately assesses patients’ needs; identifies and initiates appropriate speech and language therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional speech and language therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
