Classification Title: Spine Physiatrist - Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation  

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (https://pmr.med.ufl.edu/) at the University of Florida is seeking outstanding, motivated faculty members who are interested in starting/continuing a career in academic physiatry as a members of the UF Health Comprehensive Spine Center (CSC) https://ufhealth.org/uf-health-comprehensive-spine-center.

The CSC is an integrated multidisciplinary outpatient spine comprised of PM&R, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedic Spine Surgery, Neurology, and Anesthesiology.  As a member of the CSC, responsibilities will include evaluation and management of patients with spine issues, providing appropriate procedures utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopy (depending on training), and teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.

The successful candidate must be an MD or DO board-eligible/certified physiatrist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a commitment to academic physiatry, including resident and medical student teaching, and scholarship.
