Spirited Gourmet - Retail Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Spirited Gourmet manager to select wines, spirits, and retail items. Interact with customers to provide recommendations, explain beverage and retail items, and enhance their experience with your expertise. Ensure products are labeled and priced accurately. Maintains inventory, receives orders, and, properly stock incoming product. Assist in managing inventory, ensuring that all necessary beverages and retail products are well-stocked utilizing FIFO (first in first out) system. Understand and utilize Northstar (POS) retail and inventory management systems. Demonstrate exceptional beverage knowledge and preparation of specialty cocktails. Stay updated on beverage trends and techniques. Collaborate with Spirited Gourmet team to program cocktail classes, wine tastings, and other related activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all member and storeroom spaces. Answer and return phone calls and assist members to the best of knowledge. Properly communicate member special requests with Spirited Gourmet manager. Properly stage merchandise in retail spaces. Takes initiative to work with Spirited Gourmet team to develop creative events. Follow opening and closing responsibilities as assigned by Spirted Gourmet Manager. Adhere to alcohol service regulations, maintaining a safe and responsible environment abiding by both state and federal regulations. Adhere to all other assigned duties as assigned by Spirited Gourmet Manager. Adhere to and follows W.E.L.L. Standards

 

Spirited Gourmet - Retail Assistant Minimum Qualifications:    

One year of retail and/or restaurant experience is preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Relevant beverage certifications are a plus. Deep knowledge of various spirits, wines, and cocktails. A strong customer service orientation and the ability to engage with members and provide recommendations. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

 

Spirited Gourmet - Retail Assistant Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to reach for product and equipment at different heights.
