Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Spunk Engineer to lead the deployment and integration of advanced monitoring tools across our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless rollout of Dynatrace as our strategic monitoring tool, replacing AppDynamics, and setting up monitoring for applications on cloud and container infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and implement Splunk dashboards and scripts.
+ Lead the rollout of Dynatrace across banking applications.
+ Set up monitoring for applications on cloud and container infrastructures.
+ Deploy and integrate new monitoring tools across the GBAM organization.
+ Host demos, overviews, and training sessions for monitoring tools adoption.
+ Prepare materials to support training sessions (presentations, operational manuals, etc.).
+ Liaise with regional technical leads for planning and scheduling deployments.
+ Consult with local teams to configure monitoring events/dashboards.
+ Prepare regional reports on monitoring tools adoption and other relevant metrics.
+ Participate in global discussions on the evolution of the global monitoring strategy.
+ Drive application event-based automation.
Required Qualifications:
+ Proven experience in Splunk development, including scripting and dashboard implementation.
+ Experience with Dynatrace and its deployment, instrumentation, and analytical capabilities.
+ Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Tivoli, Microfocus BPM, Sitescope, Dynatrace, Catchpoint, etc.
+ Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, and shell scripts.
+ Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring.
+ Understanding of N-Tier Architecture supporting various products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.).
+ Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to network and influence across multiple levels.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr.
