This role supports and staffs sponsored events and campus partner activities, offering hands-on experience in event planning, marketing, and asset management while contributing to a vibrant campus community. **Responsibilities** + Event Support: Assist with ABD and partner events, including marketing activities, tailgates, and campus engagement, ensuring smooth execution, positive attendee interactions, and a clean, organized event space. + Marketing Participation: Contribute to brainstorming sessions, team meetings, and proof-of-performance reports. + Office Tasks: Provide organizational support across various departments within designated hours, with potential for additional hours and responsibilities based on performance and interest. **Minimum Qualifications** + University of Utah student: Must be currently enrolled and progressing toward a degree. + Driver’s license: Required for operating fleet vehicles and golf carts. + Independent and team-oriented: Able to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate effectively. + Food handling: Able to distribute samples, food, and drinks ( ABD covers food handler’s card cost if needed). + Physical capability: Able to lift and move heavy items such as inflatables, tents, and other event equipment, and work in all weather conditions. + Interpersonal skills: Comfortable engaging with event attendees. + Punctuality and communication: Must be punctual with strong communication skills. + Flexibility: Must be available for events during evenings and weekends. + Detail-oriented: High attention to detail. **Preferences** + Teamwork experience. + Previous experience in food service, retail, events, or marketing is a plus. **Special Instructions Summary** **Additional Information** The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”).
