SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR
POSITION: Sponsorship CoordinatorDEPARTMENT: ExecutiveREPORTS TO: Assistant General ManagerFLSA STATUS: Full-time, Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
+ ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Sponsorship Manager position with ASM Global/ Boeing Center at Tech Port . Under the supervision of the General Manager and the Client, the Sponsorship Manager will be the point of contact to execute the terms of the sponsorship agreement for activation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Lead the service and activation efforts for our sponsors at Boeing Center at Tech Port
+ Responsibilities will include proposal development, proof of performance/contract development, tracking of inventory, event activation and fulfillment oversight, digital and social media coordination
+ Work with our Legal Department in preparing agreements for assigned accounts.
+ Lead the sponsor entertainment efforts (special events and arena hospitality)
+ Create case studies of highly successful activations for reference internally and externally
+ Lead sponsor fulfillment - signage, digital, social, promotions, IP and events
+ Provide weekly report indicating status of all current sponsor action items
+ Create recaps for sponsors that provide documentation of delivered contractual and bonus assets
+ Work closely with internal departments (legal, finance, operations, marketing etc.) on sponsor needs
+ Manage all aspects of sponsor fulfillment
+ Develop sponsorship goals and objectives along with a business plan for soliciting state and local markets.
+ Negotiate, compile, and execute sponsorship contracts and agreements.
+ Conduct facility tours for prospective clients.
+ Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four (4) year college of university in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
+ One (1) year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-performance sponsorship environment, advertising/sports marketing agency or professional/collegiate sports environment
+ Solution minded and collaborative personality traits
+ Strategic and critical thinker who is dynamic, forward-thinking, analytical, and extremely well organized
+ Excellent service & communication skills
+ Digital/social media experience
+ Event & hospitality management
+ Experience with sponsor fulfillment, activation, trafficking
+ General understanding of the business development process, especially related to sponsorship, premium hospitality, and media sales
+ Detail oriented and organized with ability to meet concrete deadlines
+ Desire and ability to provide an exceptional level of client service and sponsor activation
+ Willingness to work the hours required to fulfill the commitments of the role
