Sport and Recreation Coordinator - Multi-Tenant Employee Wellbeing Center
Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sport and Recreation Coordinator to join our team in a Corporate Employee Wellbeing Center. This part-time role focuses on engaging tenant employees through recreational activities and sports to support their overall wellbeing goals. The ideal candidate will develop and implement innovative programs that foster community, encourage participation, and enhance the employee experience. Responsibilities: We’re seeking a Sport and Recreation Coordinator to join our team. As our new teammate you will: + Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational and sports programs tailored to tenant employees. + Manage daily operations of sports and recreation activities within the corporate wellbeing center. + Coordinate and schedule leagues, tournaments, and drop-in games to promote engagement and inclusivity. + Foster a welcoming and energetic environment by building relationships with employees and encouraging participation. + Ensure proper use and maintenance of all sports and recreation equipment and facilities. + Collaborate with company leadership to align programs with corporate wellbeing goals. + Track participation and assess program effectiveness, making recommendations for continuous improvement. + Perform other related duties as assigned. The Ideal Candidate will have: + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sports management, intramural activities, recreation programming, or a related area. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate participants. + Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to a dynamic environment. + Passion for promoting health and wellbeing through sports and recreation. + Proven ability to build and maintain relationships within a corporate or community setting. + Experience developing and leading sports leagues, tournaments, and wellness-focused activities. + Familiarity with corporate wellness initiatives and engagement strategies. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
