Posted Job Title Sport Club Weekend Supervisor (temp) Job Profile Title Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt Job Description Summary The Sport Club Weekend Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Sport Club competitions and events held at DRIA (Department of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics) facilities during weekends. This role ensures smooth operations, manages staff, and acts as the first point of contact in case of emergencies or issues. Weekend Supervisors are essential for maintaining a safe and organized environment, ensuring proper communication with Competitive Sports Administration, and supporting the success of all Sport Club activities. Shifts include Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flexibility is required to accommodate varying Sport Club schedules. Job Description Responsibilities 1. Oversee Intramural Sport and Sport Club competitions and events (practices and tournaments) which include: + Ensuring proper facility setup/cleanup + Player/spectator check-in + Oversee all officials and event assistants on their respective shifts + Provide quality customer service when interacting with visiting clubs and their members/spectators + Serve as a liaison between Sport Clubs and Competitive Sports Administration with any conflict or concern during oversight + Communicates all scores, staff accolades or issues, equipment issues, injuries, and incidents to Competitive Sports Administration 2. Ensure that all policies and procedures for the University of Pennsylvania and the Campus Recreation Department are enforced. 3. Ability to execute emergency procedures, situational dependent on emergency. Act as a first responder in any state of emergency that occurs during shift 4. Ability to educate Sport Club Officers on policies and procedures of Sport Clubs. 5. Perform other duties as assigned by Competitive Sports Administration.
