**Job Title: Spot Welder - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** It is the responsibility of the Spot Welding Operator to continuously spot weld components in accordance with work order instructions and customer drawing specifications. The job involves a diversification of production, which may involve holding jigs to meet the required dimensional specifications. **Responsibilities** + Setup spot welds to the appropriate heat, tip, and AC forge delay. + Ensure setup is acceptable based on visual and strength tests. + Select necessary tooling for the application. + Perform spot weld operations as required according to drawing specifications. + Change and dress electrodes. + Sand spot welds. + Utilize rigs equipment for positioning work. + Perform self-inspections during the process. + Ensure proper handling of parts and materials to avoid personal injury or product damage. + Carry out maintenance duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years' experience in welding. + 1+ years' experience in manufacturing. + Experience in Weld, Fabrication, Mig welding, Robotics, Flux core, Tig, and Mig welding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED. + 1+ years' experience setting up and operating resistance welders. + Ability to read drawings, work to verbal directions, and sketches. + Proficient in basic shop math. + Manual dexterity. + Troubleshooting skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Positive attitude. **Why Work Here?** This is a rapidly growing company with endless room for advancement.
