**Job Title: Spot Welder** 1 opening on 1st shift (5:00am-3:30pm OR 6:00am-4:30pm) 2 openings on 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00am) **Job Description** - Maintain the correct configuration of the part throughout the finishing process. - Perform in-process quality checks prior to and after polishing to ensure parts are not out of print as a result of finishing operations. - Monitor products and production process for problems. - Confirm that all documentation is accurate before moving parts to the next manufacturing process. - Adjust work routines to meet scheduling demands. - Proficiently polish two different finishes on the same part. - Thorough knowledge of all types of finishing equipment and polishing media to select the appropriate equipment and materials to achieve the desired finish. - Perform the full range of the most complex finishing operations (i.e. straight-lining). - Set up and operate all necessary finishing equipment unassisted. - Finish complex configurations within tight tolerances. **Skills** + Weld + Spot welder + Grinding + Blueprints **Qualifications** + Must have longevity in employment - NO jumpy resumes + Manufacturing experience/tech school grads + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Machine operating OR Spot welding experience **Work Environment** + Large sheet metal manufacturing company + Well lit + Clean + Culture-Focused **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
