SPP Mechanic Large Equipment 1st Shift

Role summary: 

This position will be a full-time position.  This position would be responsible for repair and preventative maintenance of embroidery and screenprint equipment. 

What you’ll be doing:

Preventative maintenance and repair of the embroidery and screenprint equipmentMaintain work bench area and parts inventoryAssist in new product developmentAssist with other department or facility needs when required or time allows

What you bring to the table:

A mechanical aptitude, and desire to learn about hydraulics, electrical, and industrial batteries, including watering, washing, testing and repair.An ability to use vendor manuals and procedures to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting tasksAn inclusive approach with your colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issuesAn ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving  An ability to adopt our safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-2 years of related experience An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand Must be at least 18 years of age
