Job Summary: 

Compensation: $66,000 - $92,400

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to plan, prepare, and ensure the successful completion of all activities related to spray foam tech support.
• Perform timely completion of communications, reports, scheduling, expense reports, and other administrative tasks using IDI’s tools and technology.
• Provide expert consultation on best industry practices and knowledge to colleagues and customers.
• Assist in converting new spray foam customers while offering continued support of current customers.
• Ensure the optimal performance of customers’ new and used equipment through inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, training and commissioning, as well as service and repairs.
• Train installers on the safe and effective application of spray foam.
• Reliably demonstrate proper etiquette and active participation in meetings.
• Organize, prepare, and present information in person, in group settings, and by means of digital communication.
• Participate in project teams to develop and execute new solutions.
• Provide primary support within local, district and regional markets, while periodically fulfilling national requirements. Ensure attendance at the local branch when needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

Mechanically inclined with experience not limited to troubleshooting and supporting electrical, fluid handling, pneumatics, and combustion engine systems.
• Knowledge of jobsite and spray foam safety
• Understanding of code-approved building practices, especially in building envelopes, spray foam, and fiberglass insulation
• Construction background (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in planning, time management, and organization
• Efficient with Microsoft Suite
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and in teams
• Comfortable presenting information in various settings


Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or GED and 3-5+ years equivalent experience preferred
• Experience either in school or by trade in engine repair, construction/building science and/or electrical work preferred
