David Weekley Homes is seeking a highly motivated Spring 2025 Construction Management Intern who is passionate about learning all aspects of the homebuilding business to join our team supporting the greater Jacksonville, FL area.

Responsibilities include:
Become familiar with the home building process from pre-contract to post-closeParticipate in the warranty process including processing warranty requests and customer concerns/issuesBuilding the David Weekley Homes WayUnderstanding all functions of a Builder's day-to-day activities including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost and material controlUnderstanding customer service and its impact on the businessAt the end of the internship you should be able to:
Schedule the construction of a home from start to finishProcess warranty requestsEffectively stage punch all stages of constructionProficient in Building the Weekley WayAccurately analyze variances and how to reduce those variances through quality assuranceQualificationsMust be currently enrolled in a full-time college program for Construction Management/Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, with an interest in pursuing Residential Construction. Applicants not currently enrolled in a college or university will not be considered.Must have housing available in the Jacksonville area for the duration of the internshipAble to work up to 40 hours per week
