Summary You will serve as a SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR in the SUSTAINMENT GROUP, LOGISTICS & MAINT & TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, PRODUCTION SUPPORT BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will perform regular database security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions. You will evaluate and install new database versions and tools, including any other tools that access those databases. You will control migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes, and menu changes through the development life cycle. You will assist with impact analysis of all changes made to the database objects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Creating and maintaining databases required for development, test, and production usage; 2) Putting standards in place to ensure that all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security, and performance; 3) Implementing, enforcing, and monitoring security for database technologies; 4) Performing database re-organization, tuning, and optimization of database instances; 5) Providing technical support to application development teams regarding security and optimization for SQL scripts and stored procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
