Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and databases that support our organization's data management and business intelligence operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with SQL, database design, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: + Database Development: Design, develop, and implement SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support business applications and reporting systems. + Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance, ensuring queries and reports are efficient and scalable. + Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency. + Data Management: Maintain data integrity and ensure the security of databases and sensitive information. + Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. + Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (development, business analysts, QA) to define and implement data requirements for business solutions. + Documentation: Document database designs, procedures, and standards to ensure knowledge sharing and system integrity. + Reporting & Analytics: Assist in the creation of reports and data visualizations to meet business needs using SQL or other BI tools. Requirements Qualifications: + Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). + Experience: + years of experience in SQL development and database management. + Experience with database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc. + Strong knowledge of database architecture, indexing, normalization, and relational database principles. + Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus. + Experience with ETL processes and data integration is a bonus. + Skills: + Proficient in SQL scripting and query optimization. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN, etc.). + Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. + Knowledge of cloud-based databases (Azure, AWS, etc.) is a plus. + Understanding of data warehousing and reporting best practices.
