Description:
Basic responsibilities of this role would be to provide application support for Retirement portfolio, many which utilize an MS SQL Server back end. Additionally, knowledge of AIX OS and shell scripting (PERL) would also be a must. Should a candidate have any experience with MS Access, that would be considered a plus.
What we need is a technical support resource with better than basic SQL server experience. Specifically, the ability to write/analyze SQL statements, would be most helpful. The position is very heavily concentrated on application support, many of which are home grown, and back ended by MS SQL databases. A position such as this could fall under varying job titles, which could make your search a bit more challenging.
