ü Work on SSIS platform for the required data integration and workflow application
ü Knowledge of SQL server and data warehousing and would be responsible to give out the desired output with these software.
ü Develops advanced BI applications using the MS BI stack including SSIS, T-SQL/stored procedures
ü Analyzes and improves existing dashboards, reports and reporting systems
ü Assists in designing extensions to our Data Warehouse systems
ü Works closely with the Data Architecture team and provides technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications
ü Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing of BI solutions
ü Designs functional specs for BI front end applications including dash boards and reporting, considering appropriate data flow and capture
ü Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions
ü Identifies problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines
ü Provides expertise and guidance to other developers in the use of the toolset
Requirements
ü Experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire Microsoft BI stack (SSIS)
ü Experience with SQL Server programming in creation and optimization of stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions
ü Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development
ü Experience working in a data warehouse environment and a strong understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts
ü Must be able to build Business Intelligence solutions in a collaborative, agile development environment
ü Demonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisions
ü Ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment
ü Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues
ü Ability to work under pressure
ü Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs
ü Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership
ü Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly
ü Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred
