SQL Developer I
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 1 - 2 days per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of our Pulse Point location in Atlanta, GA. Alternate locations may be considered.
The SQL Developer I is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns.
How you will make an impact:
Acts as liaison between internal and external business partners and SQL Developers to define, document, and review business and system requirements to support solution development.
Creates project documentation including functional and technical specifications, requirements, use-cases, testing scenarios, and project plans where applicable.
Effectively communicates status, changes, and issues to the relevant parties and stakeholders.
Quickly addresses and/or escalates project issues and support their resolution.
Shifts priorities when necessary to support urgent business needs.
Establishes and maintains working relationships with all levels of the organization.
Manages concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
Effectively communicates with internal and external customers, with management oversight as necessary, to elicit, capture, develop, and implement customer requirements.
Queries the source system to ensure that the final output conforms to requested specifications.
Ensures that end products comply with HIPAA security and privacy guidelines.
Leads and manages mid-sized projects involving client engagement.
Guides, supports, and advises junior members of the team.
Displays a positive, constructive, and helpful demeanor to assist team members and offer suggestions that improve processes, culture or working environment.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned and required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a BS/BA degree and related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:
Strong PC skills, analytical, problem-solving ability, and communication skills strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead and plan projects strongly preferred PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred.
Standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred.
Experience in SQL, GQL, SAS, Business Objects preferred.
