Brief summary of purpose:
Principal responsibility of the OSS Analyst II is to consult, and produce health care reports. Reporting includes production and ad hoc reports for operations including management, business and regulatory reporting.
ResponsibilitiesMajor reas of responsibility and accountability
Prepares comprehensive health care information analyses
Accurate and timely reports for internal and external customers on utilization trends, financial performance, quality management, and others. Uses programming skills to run production reports.Creates ad hoc reportsReviews all reports and output for internal consistency and reasonableness. Obtains peer reviewWorks with peers to identify opportunities for improvement in work process and reportsIdentifies and communicates possible trend using FCHP systems (including but not limited to, Enterprise data warehouse, Avenue QNXT replicated server)
Assist in the identification of trends that impacts operational areas Test possible trends for validityClearly communicates findingsSupports root cause analysis with peers and business ownersWorks to improve data quality and collection process to meet diverse and changing needs for the operational areas
Actively participate analyst meetings Identifies improvements regarding report efficiencies and platform effectivenessCommunicate improvement recommendationsParticipates in continuing education activities to improve upon skillsPerforms, leads or assists in a variety of special projects as requested
Work collaboratively with Manager and business ownersProvides assistance on technical matters and act as a significant information resourceParticipant in cross functional initiativesQualifications
Education:
Bachelor Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
License/Certifications:

Experience:
Proficient in SQL, Visual Basics, Visio, Access, Word, Excel & Power point. Skilled in the ability to create moderate to advanced queries perform and edit intermediate queries. Capable of designing reporting outputs (with automation features) for all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Ability to facilitate meetings and requirement sessions.
