We are seeking a Server Database Administrator.\n

The Candidate will:\n\nCollaborate with a dynamic and forward-thinking team, contributing to the development, testing, and deployment of a SharePoint 2019 farm for the Enterprise.\nAssume a pivotal role in leading the customer's migration journey from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint 2019, with an intermediate stop at SharePoint 2016, while integrating a tailored Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) solution to fulfill distinctive mission requirements.\nEngage with team members, such as system administrators, developers, and stakeholders, to discuss project requirements, exchange ideas, and strategize development tasks, with your insights shaping initiatives.\nAssist in the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of the database, monitor performance, diagnose issues, and promptly apply necessary patches and updates.\nActively participate in the testing of solutions to ensure their functionality, performance, and compatibility, ensuring a seamless user experience.\nDemonstrate experience in adding, attaching, detaching, moving, and renaming content databases and service application databases in SharePoint Server.\nManage Read-Only databases and Resource-Based Sensitivity (RBS) in SharePoint Server, optimizing performance and data management.\n\n

Desired Skills:\n\nDoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I\nExperience with workflow designer tools
\nExperience with PowerShell\u202fscripting language\nExperience in SharePoint migrations\u202f\nAbility to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences.\u202f\nAbility to understand the big picture and align the day-to-day activities to support that picture\u202f\nExperience recovering lost information,\u202fpatching systems with updates, establishing work templates, cataloging business data, administering Web portal maintenance and upgrading SharePoint-related servers.\nExperience installing SharePoint-related applications, and\u202fkeeping track of available information space\nGood communication skills to explain how to use established SharePoint databases.\n\n

Position requires an active TS\/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.\n

Qualifications:\n\nA bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and ten (10) years of experience as a DBA. Fourteen (14) years of experience as a DBA may be substituted in lieu of a degree.\nProficiency in managing SQL Server Databases\nMust be able to work during core hours of M-F 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.\n\n
