This position is for an established and productive professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works independently with minimal supervision. We are a large team who together, across the AUS, UK, Canada & US are responsible for significant databases & project related to our Oracle environment. Able to work Independently with least supervisionWork closely with offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover if requiredHands on experience in resolving configuration/performance issues. Understanding of active-active clusterDR Failover knowledge.Knowledge of T-SQL & PowerShell scripting is an assetWhat you need to have:
Previous DBA experience working with SQL Server versions 2016 and above. Experience in Installation and configuration of SQL server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS of SQL Version 2016 and higherInvolvement in making recommendations involving capacity planningPlanning for backup and recovery of databasesConfigure LogShipping, Mirroring, ClusteringHands on experience with Implementation of TDE. Knowledge or experience with Azure Key Vault will be an assetExperience in index tuning, performance counters and query storeT-SQL & PowerShell scripting is an assetGood knowledge of active-active cluster, data partitioning, multi-thread environmentTroubleshooting DB related alertsRole requires to be on a On-call rotation over the weekend.What will make you stand out:
