We are seeking a talented individual to join our MS SQL DBA team at MMC.
This role can be based in Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds or Bristol.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As our SQL Server DBA, you will join a fast-paced environment with SQL Servers running On Prem, Azure & AWS.
Our SQL DBA team is spread across the globe with colleagues in USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia & India.
Working independently, you will bring a deep understanding of active-active cluster, high availability, data partitioning and sound knowledge of T-SQL.
We will count on you to:
Work in a busy large global team supporting SQL Server and work closely with Offshore DBA TeamAttend project meetings, provide design suggestions and plan implementationMonitor ticket queues and Change orders for timely resolution to issues and changesProactively monitor SQL Servers to identify areas of concern before they become problemsPlan for backup and recovery of databases and participate in DR drills over the weekendConfigure LogShipping, Mirroring, Failover Clustering & AlwaysOn Availability GroupWhat you need to have:
Experience in Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS & SSAS of SQL Version 2016 and higher.Hands on experience in resolving configuration/performance issues.A deep understanding of active-active cluster, high availability, data partitioning and sound knowledge of T-SQL.What makes you stand out?
