Job Description:

Squad Lead, Digital Accessibility

We are seeking a hard-working and experienced Digital Accessibility Leader to join our team. In this role you will lead a team of accessibility experts and be responsible for ensuring that all digital products and services within Workplace Investing are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accessibility standards and best practices, as well as a dedication to encouraging an inclusive digital environment.

The Value You Deliver

· Lead and develop a team of digital accessibility experts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

· Develop and implement accessibility strategies and policies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508).

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and product management, to integrate accessibility into the product development lifecycle.

· Conduct accessibility audits and assessments of digital products and services, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring remediation.

· Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in digital accessibility.

· Advocate for accessibility within the organization, raising awareness and promoting a culture of inclusivity.[CH2]

· Provide training and resources to employees on accessibility standard processes and tools.

· Monitor and report on the accessibility status of digital products and services, ensuring continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.

· Experience working in agile and matrixed business organizations

· Demonstrated ability in digital accessibility, with a consistent track record of leading accessibility initiatives.

· Strong knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, ADA, Section 508).

· Experience with accessibility testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, keyboard navigation).

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advocate for accessibility across all levels of the organization.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA) is a plus.
