The Purpose of the Role

Honeywell is looking for a Sr Account Manager to be based in\nMidrand, South Africa. The Sr Account Manager will manage all aspects of\nengagements with existing and new customers for our PMT organization. You will\nbuild relationships and understand customer business in order to provide\nappropriate products or solutions and will also define sales and growth\nstrategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business\nobjectives. 

Key responsibilities

Primary customer\ninterface responsible for the development of business, and management of\nrelationships, with a specific customer or customers.Understanding of\nthe customer’s business, drivers, and organization, and an understanding of the\nvalue that Honeywell brings to the customer to drive to real business outcomes.Dissemination of\nkey messages, initiatives, and of information pertaining to the value Honeywell\nbrings to that specific customer at all levels of the customer’s organization.Business partner\nto the customer, establishes a defensible barrier to competitors, maximizes the\nbusiness potential of their customers, and acts as the primary supplier\ninterface for all products, solutions and services with this customer.Champions the\ncustomers’ needs and requirements within the Honeywell organization.

 

YOU MUST HAVEUniversity Degree or equivalent experience level  Experience in\nsolution sales (automation industry). Proven track\nrecord of success in the industry/ business environmentExperience in\nbuilding and maintaining relations at customers (different levels)Experienced in\ncomplex sale, including early engagement in the customer buying cycle at\nsenior levels, building long-term strategic and executive relationships,\nteam selling and opportunity planning. 

·       Marketing and\nproject management experience is desirable.
·       Previous working\nexperience in a complex organization
