The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Account Manager acts as the sunglass category leader with a buying team that maximizes penetration of Luxottica’s portfolio in accordance with licensor guidelines for distribution. The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for the team’s achievement of annual territory sales quotas and cost of sales goals across their assigned Department Store customers. Leads project timeline to meet both customer and internal partner expectations on brand and other initiatives (internal includes trade marketing, brand management and ISS).

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieves annual wholesale goals, as specified in the Annual Incentive Plan and the Annual Performance Objectives. Understands, communicates and drives the Luxottica portfolio strategic direction with assigned customers. Partners with the client in using sophisticated reporting metrics to drive customer portfolio. Comes up with solutions to complex problems around omni-channeling. Plans for frequent, high profile business reviews with key stakeholders. Drives divisional goals of full price sell thru and productivity through ISS partnership. Identifies, customizes and optimizes specific brand and product opportunities for client through collaborations and input with the buyer and brand teams. Partners with internal departments including trade marketing, brand management, product, finance, ISS team etc. to develop and drive client’s eyewear strategies. Travels monthly with client’s Buyer and Luxottica ISS teams to key doors to understand business opportunities and trends. Partners with brand managers and line planners to relay business trends/opportunities and voids within client’s assortments to devise strategies for continued growth. Manages store inventory with client’s buyer. Effectively manages the evolution of active assortments by customer (launch and core) to ensure the availability of the right product to serve the client’s business needs. Works closely with Product and Marketing teams to develop 360 degree marketing plans to support client’s eyewear opportunities. Acts as a collaborative contributor to the team sharing account insight, feedback and solutions to create a better experience internally and externally for all who interface with Luxottica. Support the career development of direct reports.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

+7 years retail experience Fashion/eyewear industry experience Knowledge of merchandising, management and retail sales Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing Equivalent combination of education and experience Experience managing direct reports or a team. Results oriented with strong strategic sales approach Ability to develop and maintain key management relationships within the department store environment; builds business trust and earns confidence with key store management Effective project management skills and strong organization/time management Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment Well informed of industry trends and able to speak knowledgeably and confidently about the eyewear industry

​Pay Range: 119,899.20  - 193,260.00 

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
