Introduction to team 


Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We open up our supply and innovative technology to businesses looking to take on the world of travel. These businesses, sometimes referred to as our ‘demand partners’, include global financial institutions (e.g. AMEX), corporate managed travel, offline travel agents (e.g. Flight Centre), global travel suppliers (e.g. Delta) and many more.

As a Sr Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of significant partnerships within the Americas Region with primary focus on Brazil market, analyzing business and operational performance to find opportunities for optimization and growth.


In this role, you will:  


•    Account planning, forecasting and account strategy execution
•    Managing key stakeholder relationships, sharing best practices across teams and regions
•    Maintain and develop excellent partner relationships at all levels
•    Successfully manage key partner negotiations and re-negotiations. 
•    Build strong relationships with customer account team, including key buyers and decision makers at all levels 
•    Create and drive opportunities to build customer account
•    Recommend products, services, and insights that meet partners needs
•    Demonstrates awareness of the policies, practices, trends, and information (including competitor) that impact the organization and its customers
•    Demonstrates strong understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions on the organization and its customers.
•    Build and drive internal and external business cases as required for change.
•    Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of financial data and the company’s standard contract terms and conditions by reading product literature, contracts, and asking questions of peers.
•    Learns when to partner with legal resources to modify or adjust standard contract terms.
•    Learns the contract negotiation process and how to complete contractual arrangements.
•    Conducts straightforward cost, benefit, and risk analyses of possible solutions and the implications not reaching an agreement
•    Identifies and actively engages stakeholders in decision making and strategies to benefit account and organization. Closes deals effectively.
•    Builds a working knowledge of products, technologies, offerings, etc., within scope of responsibility.
•    Develops an understanding of competitors’ standard products and services.
•    Demonstrates insightful application of products, technologies, and offerings to account.
•    Develops understanding of customer's industry and competitive market.
•    Learns the metrics to assess the performance of products, services, and solutions against customer needs/expectations.
•    Develops key value proposition statements, case studies, etc., to demonstrate the value of the company’s products, services, and solutions.
•    Understands and reports a customer’s business issues through appropriate organization channels


Experience and qualifications:  


•    Proficient in both English & Portuguese. 
•    Proficient in Spanish (desirable)
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Strong understanding of how the department operates and fits into the larger organization
•    Experience in sales/account management (5+ years) with a highly successful track record of driving revenue growth for partner accounts
•    Experience managing high value accounts with a B2B background
•    Exceptional negotiation skills
•    Well structured and capacity to take on high workload with a strong ability to prioritize workload effectively
•    Outstanding relationship building skills selling background and focus
•    Background working with senior management, including C-Level executives
•    Extensive knowledge of Microsoft office products including Power Point
•    Exceptional organizational skills with attention to details such as billing, contract terms, commissions
•    You are creative and self-motivated, compelling and “executive level” eye for business
