The Target Plus team is looking for a collaborative and energetic account manager with a track record of driving results, exceeding sales goals, and building high performing vendor relationships. Within Target Plus, the Account Management team is responsible for leading, developing, and driving performance of high potential partners, inclusive of DTC and traditional brands, retailers, and industry leading third-party sellers to drive growth for the marketplace.
As a Sr. Account Manager, Target Plus, you will oversee high potential, top-performing, cross-pyramid partners with accountability to meeting performance and financial goals. You set the strategy, process, and structure for your partner’s growth on the Target Plus platform. This Sr. Account Manager role will collaborate heavily across the industry and enterprise to implement strategies that drive marketplace growth into the future.
Primary responsibilities of this Sr. Account Manager role include:
Strategic Development and Performance:
Partnership with T+ Category Management, Merchandising, and Operational teams to drive category performance outcomes.
Responsible for delivering GMV, revenue and growing market share for your business.
Utilize data and analytics to help partners drive their business by identifying assortment gaps, whitespace opportunities, and item productivity opportunity to improve conversion.
Develop and maintain a promotional calendar, comp shop pricing, brand awareness, and traffic drivers to ensure delivery of the best assortment and value to our guest.
Champion best-in-industry relationship development with external partners including sellers, brands, and channel partners.
Action driven outcomes to deliver financial and KPI goals.
Cross-Category Vendor Account Management:
Executive account ownership for top cross-category partners driving strategic go-gets, prioritization across marketplace functional teams, and setting performance goals.
Build, lead, and develop cross-functional team priorities to deliver overall partner success.
Drive accountability to deliver revenue as well as partner value and loyalty.
Act as a consultant and advocate to provide solutions that deliver on client needs.
Team Engagement:
Actively lead account relationships with the broader team.
Drive efficiency through development and management of routines and processes.
Strong global leadership fostering collaboration, communication, efficiency, and speed in building and supporting a global business model.

About you:
4-year college degree
Minimum of 6 years in digital, marketing, and/or sales experience
A performance-driven individual who demonstrates strong initiative and has superior leadership skills
Experience creating business strategies and delivering growth with partners
Strong, succinct communicator that understands audience needs and tailors messages
Thrives in ambiguity and able to flex with changing priorities
