Sr. Accountant (Band 7)
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and review timely journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysisProvide technical guidance to other accounting teams and financial partnersReview capital acquisition requests from business partnersFacilitate integration and accounting of newly acquired entitiesSupport ad-hoc internal, group, and corporate requests as neededChallenge current processes to identify improvement opportunitiesWork closely with key business partners to identify and mitigate issues impeding the achievement of business goalsEnsure business transactions continue to be in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, policies and SOX controlsSecondary Responsibilities
Document work product using available systems and toolsProvide oral and written communication to impacted departmentsProvide technical guidance and supervising supports to the teamProvide ongoing accounting guidance and mentoring to Finance and Sales Operations teamsAct as liaison with internal and external auditorsSkills, Knowledge and Abilities

General Ledger AccountingKnowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAPProficient in Microsoft ExcelProficient in SAP and JD Edwards/E1, Oracle R12 is a plusQualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred) with 4 to 6 years of previous accounting experienceMinimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience at a large public international corporation or at a public acExperience in the ERP systems and analytical tools such as: E1 (J.D. Edwards), SAP, SQL, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and PowerBI.counting firm.Experience in GL accounting and month-end close. Experience in a large organization and experience with close cycles is a plusCompensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$160,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
