The Sr. Accountant is responsible for Accounting Duties related to Financial Analysis, Budget/Forecast, Fixed Assets Accountability, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Information to Government entities, Integrity of Financial Statements, EOM Closing, Preparation of special analysis reports.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
+ Analyzes specific Balance Sheet accounts monthly and assures that all reconciling items are properly cleared.
+ Assists external and internal auditors (Financial, Governmental and SOX).
+ Provides support in the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast process.
+ Supports Corp FA Accounting on tracking of Capital Projects expenditures and annual Fixed Assets audit.
+ Prepares statutory filings: monthly imports return, sales returns, Withholding Tax on Services, Drivers and Disability Insurances returns in a quarterly basis, Workmen's Compensation Return and Informative returns (Form 480s) in an annual basis. Coordinates payments for these returns.
+ Comply with Corporate Reporting, MFS and Transfer Price Schedule.
+ Comply with Five (5) day closing, prepares month-end journal entries for the areas under responsibility.
+ Generates and Distributes Department Spending reports and analysis of expenses accounts as required.
+ Prepares Overtime and others awareness metrics.
+ Supports project with spending tracking and billing to other organizations.
+ Assists in the annual physical inventory.
+ Prepares special analysis as required.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Education and Experience
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.
+ BBA, major in Accounting/Finance.
+ 5 to 7 years of experience in increasingly higher responsibilities in the general accounting area.
+ Fully Bilingual
+ Oracle Experience
