Summary:

Financial Analyst responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in a similar financial role, ideally in aerospace or automotive manufacturing. Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls knowledge. Proficient in Epicor financial software and ERP systems. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, reconcile, and post journal entries, ensuring financial data accuracy. Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with GAAP. Help prepare quarterly and annual budgets, and financial forecasts. Analyze variances with Finance Controller and department heads. Support month-end and year-end closing processes, account reconciliation, and timely reporting. Enhance internal controls for asset tracking and compliance. Recommend improvements for operational efficiency. Identify trends, discrepancies, and cost-saving opportunities through financial data analysis. Ensure tax, SOX, and audit compliance. Assist in external audits with necessary documentation and responses. Monitor cash flow and manage reserves for operational needs and investment returns. Work with IT to improve financial systems and processes. Support strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned by the Financial Controller.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per hour
