**Senior Accountant – Exciting Opportunity in a Dynamic Environment** Are you an experienced **Senior Accountant** looking for a challenging role where you can work on diverse projects, streamline financial processes, and collaborate across departments? This role offers the chance to lead process improvements, work independently, and contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth organization. **Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant** + Manage the balance sheet and income statement for multiple legal entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial statement preparation. + Perform financial analysis, investigating variances and discrepancies across business lines, segments, and regions. + Supervise and train the Global Business Service (GBS) team, ensuring high-quality work and continuously improving operational processes. + Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting for business activities. + Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency. + Own and execute internal controls activities, maintaining up-to-date documentation. + Support external audits and internal audits as needed. + Assist management with special projects and ad hoc tasks. **Qualifications for the Senior Accountant Role** **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. + 3+ years of relevant professional experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Public accounting experience at a Senior level (Audit/Assurance) or **Senior Accountant** experience in a high-volume corporate environment. + Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, Oracle preferred). + CPA certification preferred. + Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proactive and positive attitude. + Experience supervising and reviewing the work of outsourced service providers. + In-depth understanding of US GAAP and public company audits.
