Job Description:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field of study requiredCPA license a plus

Work Experiences:

5+ years of experience in general accountingKnowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)Experience utilizing ERP accounting systems requiredMonthly financials analysis experience requiredConsolidation and intercompany accounting experience requiredOracle ERP experience a plus

Ability to work well under pressure while consistently meeting time sensitive deadlinesAnalytical with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skillsAbility to remain organized, pay attention to detail, and meet critical deadlinesStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with individuals at various levelsAbility to prioritize workload, meet multiple deadlines simultaneously in a fast paced, frequently changing environmentCollaborative team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to understand intercompany accounting/consolidations and help build out new process

Responsibilities:

Support the monthly consolidation process including managing the global intercompany process and review of monthly US GAAP consolidated resultsResponsible for important close-related tasks including preparing and reviewing consolidation journal entries, supporting the analytical review of the monthly financials and maintaining internal controlsWork with intercompany owners to resolve out of balance accountsPrepares and reviews inter-company transactions and profit eliminations, and ensures proper accounting for corporate level transactionsManage and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy in the consolidated financial statementsHelp develop consolidations process to ensure maximization of Oracle ERP abilitiesPerform detail reconciliation of all intercompany receivables and intercompany payables accountsPrepare monthly intercompany invoices and related intercompany journal entriesDetailed tracking of intercompany inventory transactions
