Sr Accountant Financial Analyst
Job Description: We are seeking a Sr Accountant Financial Analyst with over 5 years of experience in accounting and finance. Ideal candidates will have experience in nonprofit accounting and a strong understanding of fund accounting, including restricted and unrestricted funds. Proficiency in Advanced Excel, particularly with pivot tables and V-lookups, is essential. The role involves rebuilding budget models and ensuring spreadsheet synchronization. This position requires strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external members, including fundraising groups, contract reporting, and monthly billing. Candidates should be deadline-oriented, proactive, and willing to take on new responsibilities within a lean team. Other responsibilities include: Handle monthly billing, contract reporting, and event reconciliations. Develop and maintain budgeting models and expense allocations. Report to state and government funding partners. Ensure accuracy in reporting, filing, compiled financials, year-end closing, and audits. Communicate with the CEO and work with generational leaders. Identify and implement process improvements and take on projects Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in accounting Experience with non-profit/ fund accounting Experience with forecasting, budgeting, contractual reporting, financial modeling, and expense allocation. Intermediate experience in Excel functions Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
