\n\nWe are currently seeking a Senior Energy Solutions Development Engineer based in Atlanta, GA to support HESG project development throughout our North America region. In this capacity you will engage primarily in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) projects to provide engineering support to the sales team. In addition, you will: use your extensive subject matter expertise to influence customers toward Honeywell solutions; provide both external and internal consultations; help Honeywell teams develop and maintain the right product messaging, customer support, and training; foster cross-functional alignment to customer needs; and participate in pursuit strategy planning, and customer negotiations.\n
\n\nAreas of job responsibility and associated skills:\n\n
Perform Technical Audits and Solution Development – Ability to develop an investment grade audit of facilities. Provide a unique customer focused solution that meets the customer’s technical, social, and financial requirements. Perform a financial analysis to demonstrate the viability of the technical solution. Must have demonstrated ability for speed and quality of technical solutions. Actively manage scope, schedule, and cost of development.\n\n\nTechnical Knowledge and Aptitude – Must have a strong understanding of mechanical systems (airside, chilled water, steam, hot water systems, etc.) and electrical systems (switchgear, switching/relays, metering, etc.). Experienced/knowledgeable in the development of projects that include industrial applications (pharmaceutical manufacturing, pulp & paper mills, food & beverage, etc.), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrification (boilers, heat pumps, VRF, etc.), and/or geothermal systems. Ability to apply technical knowledge in the development of a customer solution. The capability to develop new and unique offerings, or, combinations of offerings, to meet the customer’s needs.\n\n\nCommunication and Proficiency with Sales – Ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels to achieve sales goals. Ability to present complex technical ideas and concepts to non-technical audiences. High level of written communication skills to generate reports, slide presentations and proposals as required. Ability to understand the customer’s organizational culture, buying tendencies, and critical stakeholders.\n\n\nSolution Development Process Adherence – Ability to work with a diverse team and capacity to adopt best practices and process enhancements. Ability to independently complete contract documents in accordance with standard Honeywell practices. Coordinate with internal teams such as Measurement and Verification, Delivery, and Contracts teams. Proficiency at generating the financial analysis and scopes of work. Ability to reuse and adapt pre-established best practices.\n\n\nSupport Delivery Operations – Support Operational personnel with post contract engineering, design document development, and project commissioning to drive faster project completion.\n\n\nAn estimated 30% travel will be required.\n

YOU MUST HAVE
5-7 years in the Energy Solutions business5-7 years working knowledge of HVAC/electrical/commercial & industrial type systemsProfessional engineering license: P.EngWE VALUE
