Sr Advanced Certification Engineer
\nAs a Sr. Advanced Certification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the compliance and certification of aerospace products in the Aerospace (AERO) business unit. Your expertise in certification processes, regulatory requirements, and technical knowledge will be essential in obtaining and maintaining the necessary certifications for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, regulatory authorities, and customers to ensure that our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.
\nYou will report directly to our Certification Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a hybrid work schedule. Other available locations include Phoenix, AZ and Clearwater, FL.

\nKey Responsibilities
\n\nReview and approve certification documents and processes for software, systems, and hardware qualifications in compliance with industry regulations.\nProvide expert guidance on regulatory compliance for systems, qualification, and software development.\nSupport Continued Operational Safety (COS) initiatives by coordinating with various stakeholders, including COEs, ISC, ODA, and OEMs.\nPerform and support audits to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to contractual obligations.\nDrive the deployment of new airworthiness regulations and address systemic certification issues.\nStrengthen and maintain relationships with national and international Certification Authorities and participate in industry regulatory committees.\nContribute to the Product Assurance Airworthiness & Certification (PAAC) Management Operating System initiatives.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL

\nThe salary range for this position is $130,000 - $162,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.\n5+ years of experience in the development and/or testing of airborne systems or real-time embedded software for aerospace certification.\n\nWE VALUE
\n\nElectrical, Electronic, Computer, Computer Science, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering degree preferred.\nStrong knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAA TSO Order 8150.1, 14 CFR 21 subpart O, ARP-4754, DO-160, and/or DO-178.\nExperience working directly with Certification Authorities (FAA, EASA, etc.).\nDeep understanding of aircraft systems operations and avionics products.\nExceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively while demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong collaboration skills, working with Product Engineers, Program Managers, Customers, and Certification Authorities to foster positive relationships.\n\nABOUT HONEYWELL\nHoneywell International Inc.
