Sr Advanced Data Scientist (Senior Adv Software\nEngineer) for Vocollect, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities: 
Responsible for developing and\n supporting Honeywell’s Voice Enterprise software platforms (VoiceConsole,\n VoiceCheck, VoiceLink) using Agile Scrum/SAFe methodologies and expected\n to use industry standard tool (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket Github, Confluence,\n etc.).
Work directly with developers,\n testers, and product managers to deliver across the entire application\n life cycle (Concept, Design, Build, Deploy, Test, Release and Support).
Perform software development on\n existing products while defining/designing next generation platform such\n as microservices architecture (Spring Boot), flexible API development\n (GraphQL), container orchestration (Kubernetes) and knowledge of migrating\n enterprise applications to Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model to Azure\n cloud.
Perform demos on features or concepts.\n
Participate in the Secure Software\n Lifecycle activities with Global and Cyber-Security teams; interact\n cross-functionally with Honeywell global teams, partners and customers to\n address customer field issues; support the learning, mentoring and\n on-boarding of new and/or junior team members. Experience with mobile\n application development for creating and deploying across iOS and Android\n devices.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must\nhave a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software\nEngineering, Information Systems, or related field, and 5 years of enterprise,\nwebbased software development experience. Full term of experience must include:\ndeveloping, scripting, testing and troubleshooting applications developed in\nJava plus one or more of the following languages: Javascript, React, Python,\nC/C++; working knowledge of Spring, Springboot, Struts, SQL/No-SQL, RESTful\nservices, GraphQL; efficient with software version control tools (e.g,\nBitbucket, SVN, Github, GitLab) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira,\nBugzilla); demonstrated experience with cloud technologies including an\nunderstanding of modern microservice-based architectures and methodologies;\nexperience converting enterprise applications to Software-as-a-Service\nsolutions by migrating it to a cloud platform (e.g. Azure); experience using\ncontainer orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes) for automating software\ndeployment, scaling, and management; and knowledge of speech recognition\ntechnologies for transcribing spoken audio into text. Up to 10% domestics\ntravel required.
