Sr Advanced Process Manufacturing Engineer
As a Sr Advanced Process Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell, you will be a vital part of the Integrated Supply Chain organization. Your primary responsibility will be to drive manufacturing engineering activities to ensure the successful production of our products. Your expertise in product manufacturing and process improvement, specifically in Platinum Aluminide Vapor Phase coatings, will be crucial in optimizing operational efficiency and quality. You will report directly to Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager and work onsite at our Greer, SC location.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the production process and contribute to the overall success of Honeywell. You will be responsible for implementing best practices, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest level of product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Lead manufacturing engineering activities to ensure efficient production processes
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost reductions
+ Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives
+ Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications
+ Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
+ Support new product introductions and ensure smooth production ramp-up
+ Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and resolve manufacturing issues
+ Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements

+ 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field
+ 2+ years’ experience manufacturing processes and techniques, specifically in Aluminide Vapor Phase coatings

+ Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
+ Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
+ Six Sigma certification
+ Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements in manufacturing
+ Strong project management skills
