We are seeking an Senior Advanced Test Engineer to join our\nproduct verification & Validation at one of our Bangalore design\ncenters.
Candidates with Research & Development (R&D) or New Product Introduction (NPI)\nexperience are preferred.
Candidate needs to develop and design test bench based on different gases\n(H2, Carbonate) and mixtures.\n
You will apply the principles of chemistry, physics, and mathematics to solve\nproblems that involve detection, prevention and prediction of safety failures\ndue to leak, Thermal Runaway, Fire & explosion (LEL).
You will use your broad knowledge to help run\nexperiments and tests to aid in the development of Safety Sensors in\nElectrification & Gas Sensor Domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather estimates of the Test SystemsDefine test system architecture & Requirements Develop Test Systems – for Function, Performance and Endurance of product.Perform laboratory testingAdjust and calibrate instrumentResearch new methodDesign experimentsLead improvement initiativesTest and monitor performance of product.Troubleshoot problems with equipment and product.Conduct analysis and prepare reportsStrong analytical capabilities and very good grip on the chemical engineering concepts.Good understanding of thermodynamic principles, heat transfer and other relevant areas of chemical engineering.Working knowledge of industry standards. ISO26262, IEC61508HTSIND2022
MUST HAVE:
B.E. / B.Tech. degree in Chemical , Instrumentation Engineering is required.Around 8+ years of experience as Product Validation , Quality Proficient in the use of computers for specification generation, technical evaluations, and the electronic sharing of data across geographically separated work groups.The ability to effectively communicate with team members and other engineering personnel is essential.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, support tool infrastructure and development.Open to 10% world-wide travel, typically of short duration (generally between a few days and two weeks).WE VALUE:
Experience in Gas /Pressure/Optical sensors calibration and testing Proven knowledge of safety oriented analyses (Fault Tree Analysis, FMEA, DVPR,DFA)Hands on experience with Labview and Arduino coding preferred.experience with test lab management, test equipment design, test plan development and test implementation on development hardware.An understanding of engineering principles and mathematicsAn aptitude for, and interest in chemistryKnowledge on sensors & test equipment like PLCs, Oscilloscopes, Function generatorsConversant with Thermal chambers and maintenance aspects. Understand TPM principles to maximize the uptime of test equipment.Knowledge\n of various serial communication\n protocols such as USB, SPI, and I2C.
