Sr Advanced Windows Software Engineer

Contract Position
$65.99-$70.99/Hour

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and integrate software applications for current and next-generation torpedo guidance and control systems for the Department of Defense.Provide engineering expertise in diagnostics and debugging of existing code to ensure high reliability and performance for deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve software and system issues while recommending and implementing solutions.Document software development processes, including test plans, design documentation, and maintenance of design requirements.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.Experience and Skills:
Proficiency with C/C++, object-oriented development, and Windows application development (Win32, WPF, WinUI 3).Experience with software design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP) and Windows kernel-level debugging using tools such as Windows DDK or WinDBG.Hands-on experience with National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, MATLAB, Visual Studio, and SQL/SQL Server.Strong understanding of Windows low-level systems development, APIs, and software architecture decisions.Experience with DevOps practices (version control, branching strategies, automated build/test/deploy) and Agile/Lean software development principles.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with communication protocols (GPIB, RS232, SPI) and interfacing with hardware devices (PXI, CRIO, CDAQ).Proficiency in using lab equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, and spectrum analyzers.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
