Job Description

This position will play a key role in Pilot’s Financial Transformation program. This role will have responsibility over the maintenance and processes as pertains to Pilot’s Financial systems and Financial Reporting – General Ledger, Budgeting, Financial Reporting systems. This will include participating in the development, continuous improvements and systems enhancements, maintaining data integrity, financial reporting, issues resolution, and user support.

Responsible for the systems administration and data integrity of key critical finance systems.This position involves interaction with accounting/finance system users, Information Technology, and external software vendorsThe role will play a vital role in implementation of Infor FSM which will involve development of tools, reports, workflows, and applications, including documentation of system requirements, design and development, testing, reporting, and delivery to end usersThe role will play support maintenance of the configuration of the financial system, Infor FSMExecute Reporting strategy as pertains to the financial reporting out of the General ledger system and Enterprise performance management system.Assist with report design, development, automation, and enhancement for Finance teamEstablish and maintain documented system procedures to ensure consistency as it relates to the population and extraction of data from various systemsMaintain documentation of finance systems, field definitions, process flows, and proceduresSet up, maintain, and/or troubleshoot user account/profile setup issues Design, develop, and test finance system changes and enhancementsInfluence system optimization efforts to improve processes within the Finance organization through better use of technologyManage projects/process improvement, including applying change management experience to facilitate growth to continually improve levels of qualityCreate and deliver recurring and ad hoc data sets/reports/queries for internal customersResearch and resolve data inconsistencies, system errors, and end users’ questions (amount of time varies by systems assigned)Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goalsModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresComplete other duties as assigned

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 3 years in supporting Financial Systems required or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with INFOR CloudSuite FSM and/or Lawson is an advantage, but not a requirement.General understanding of ERP and FIS systems requiredHands on experience performing system configuration and process flows within FISExperience with flow charting software such as VisioGeneral knowledge of business processes and system integrationAbility to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to communicate (written and verbal) and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision makingStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsSelf-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectivesExcellent customer service skillsOvernight travel required is up to 5%General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of timeAble to work evenings, weekends and odd hours as needed
