Sr Analyst, Global Logistics
Job Summary

As the Sr Analyst, Global Logistics you will support At Home’s logistics operations and strategies.  Through active operational execution and provider performance management, you will play a key role in operating and analyzing the network, developing recommendations and taking initiative to drive improvements to contribute to a best-in-class supply chain. Global Logistics is a critical support team for our business continuity, sales, and sustainability strategies

Key Roles and Responsibilities Execute daily operations of US import operations: port/terminal ops, dray, transload, intermodal, customs clearance Manage exceptions of origin operations, international ocean and air freight; in partnership with origin teams Drives research and resolution to solve shipping issues and supply chain defects Manage performance of ocean/air, port/terminal ops, dray, transload, and intermodal providers; analyze scorecards and drive performance improvement Compile and analyze data to identify trends, proactively identify defects, and leverage creative and abstract problem-solving skills to support continuous improvement that drives logistics performance and cost optimization Forecasts weekly, monthly and annual volumes Manage freight payment approvals, aging, claims Contribute to bid strategies and execute bid activities for US import operations  Streamline and simplify processes and procedures to support efficient management of the business

Qualifications and Competencies Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required 7 years professional experience with 3-5 years' experience in Global Logistics, Customs or International Transportation roles Proficient in Microsoft Office products Knowledge and/or expertise with overseas transportation management systems, ocean carrier processes, customs systems & processes and the global logistics industry
