What Global Trade Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Global Trade is responsible for the execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Global Trade Operations is responsible for the execution of import and export activities throughout the region by providing the most cost-effective and timely logistics and customs support with an unyielding commitment to regulatory and international trade compliance.
Responsibilities
Regional Operations team is responsible for:
3PL and carrier management
Import/Export documentation, broker instructions and entry compliance.
KPI management including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
The update of all GT-related IT systems to allow for a seamless customs clearance without additional delays and costs to the CAH organization.
Ensure that all tickets received through Global Trade Now are assigned and resolved in a timely manner
Document and communicate country specific import/export requirements within region.
Support critical projects and other teams within the CAH organization.
Qualifications
BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred
5+ years of experience in Import/Export operations
English: Advance (read, speak, write)
Prior experience in medical or pharmaceutical industry preferred
Customs Brokers License preferred
