Sr Analyst, Inventory Data Validation & Reporting

Primary Purpose:

The Senior analyst will support the Brand Operations function by performing inventory data validation and analysis, driving the integrity of the global receipt plan, and building reporting and visualization tools.  The Senior analyst will engage with IT and supply teams to ensure inventory data accuracy and alignment between systems and functions. This role will report to the VP Brand Operations and will collaborate closely with all members of the Brand Operations team.  This role is based in New York, NY.

Efficiently consolidate the global receipt plan on a monthly basis Bridge the receipt plan to the demand plan Analyze receipt plan changes month to month Optimize inventory globally Reconcile demand with scheduled on order Validate inventory movements and inventory balances Identify and resolve gaps in data sources Build inventory dashboards Support business execution of new programs and initiatives

 

The accomplished individual will possess...

A College Degree, required 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, finance, or other related area Deep analytical and financial skills with strong brand, retail, supply chain and overall business acumen Strong data analysis skills including Data collection and validation. Filter data, handle missing values, and correct discrepancies to ensure accuracy and relevance. Exploratory data analysis. Study data to identify trends, look for patterns and answer problems. Data interpretation. Interpret findings and present them clearly and concisely to others in the company. Experience with large datasets and enterprise databases Experience with SQL and data visualization tools Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills Experience with MicroStrategy and Tableau a plus Ability to develop strong partnerships across the business and be a team player Strong attention to detail Be adaptable and flexible in response to shifting priorities in an evolving work environment
